Our Vision

is of a democratic and socially just world with massively reduced economic inequality, in which all people, regardless of race, gender, religion, gender identity, or sexual orientation are treated with respect; in which war and the industries supporting it are a thing of the past; in which animals and the natural world are deemed to be valuable in themselves and are not just considered to be resources for humans. A world in which compassion, cooperation and autonomy are the guiding principles, rather than greed and competition.

Our Role

is to focus our work on supporting organisations which:

  • are social enterprises, charities or co-operatives
  • work to reduce social inequalities
  • support migrants
  • assist the destitute
  • provide social housing
  • campaign or educate to support veganism and animal rights
  • protect the environment or address climate change
  • encourage and promote participation in the arts and creativity
  • campaign for peace and conflict resolution, or against the arms trade
  • empower underprivileged and disempowered groups
  • campaign against and/or address discrimination based on race, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, class or religion
  • support LGBTQIA+ people
  • support people affected by sexual exploitation
  • provide spiritual or emotional support
  • promote the co-operative sector

Our MissionWe aim:

  • to provide expert, innovative and appropriate book-keeping, tax, accountancy and audit services to social enterprises, at a good price.
  • to provide training in tax and accountancy to increase the level of expertise and capacity within the co-operative movement.
  • to support social enterprise start-ups.
  • To use our networks and expertise to support those working for positive social change.
  • to support others who share our vision.

Our ValuesWe will:

  • work with organisations or individuals that contribute to positive social change.
  • not help anyone to gain an unfair tax advantage.
  • fulfill our commitments to paying the appropriate taxes that we owe by seeking to pay the right amount of tax, in the right place, and at the right time.
  • adhere to our client selection policy, which dictates who we will and won't work with
  • adhere to our ethical procurement and supplier policy  which includes directions to prioritise public transport, vegan catering, sustainable venues & accommodation, ethical co-operative suppliers and also boycott Amazon among other things.
  • seek to support other co-operative and ethical charity start ups with low cost or pro-bono work if we can afford it.
